Elizabeth Blackwell became the first female medical doctor in the United States. She was born in Bristol England on February 3, in 1821. She emigrated to New York City from England in search of a better life in 1832. When she was young, she was interested in medical science. So, she graduated from Geneva Medical in Geneva, New York in 1849. After graduated, she wanted to get a job in a hospital, but she didn’t. Because, most of women hard to find work in field of medicine in those days. After all, she opened the New York Infirmary in 1853. She made a success for her efforts. She also opened the Women's Medical College of the New York Infirmary. In 1875, she assisted in founding the London School of Medicine for Woman. She was grate respected all the people as the first medical doctor. She died in Hastings, England, in 1910, at the age of 90.

writing4(birthday)
Yesterday was Viki’s 21st birthday. It was an important day in her life. She intended to have a birthday party with her best friends in the evening. Because of Most of bars were dark and smoky, she held the birthday dinner at home. Anyway, she was busy to prepare dinner for her friends. First, she bought some food and beer at supermarket and picked up birthday cake at bakery. And then, she cleaned house and made dinner. Last, she wrapped present for give it to her friends and set the table. As everything was ready, her friends arrived and had a good dinner. Wonderful birthday dinner! She was very happy.

writing3(My day)
I should never forget my special day on July 15, 2005. I was starting my new position that day as a team leader at Nam Bu Water Supply Division. As usually, I got up early at 6:oo and took a shower. After shower, I had big breakfast and left for my work about 7 o’clock. . I walked to work and arrived in my new office at 7:40. And then, I had a cup of coffee and checked my schedule. Maybe, I had some tension about the new position. I wanted to make a good impression. Anyway, I met my coworker for the first time at 10:00. They were looks good. We had lunch together at 12:00. After lunch, I tried to understand new business in the afternoon. I was more treated kindly than be a staff member. I was happy a little. When I came back home at 7:00, I felt some tired with tension. Being tired, I went to bed early. I think I never have a day as good as the one I had special day.

According the news, there are many agrichemicals to be used to plant vegetables. Mark was surprised to hear the news. After many considerations, he decided to plant a vegetable garden. Because he thought organic vegetable are better for us. First, he went to a garden store and bought vegetable seeds. Then he went home, prepared the soil, and planted the seeds. He bought some books to raise vegetables. Everyday, he watered and weeded the garden. Because of his efforts, the vegetables grew well. At the end of the summer, he finally picked the vegetables from the garden. Every year, he have planted seeds and picked the vegetables. He feels that he and his family are healthier than before.

Greeting the New Year, most of people made New Year’s resolutions. Tim was also. As the time went on, he had a hard time keeping his New Year’s resolutions. As usually, he wrote a list of new resolutions on January 1st. At the end of January, he had broken half of them. As the months went on, he broke even more resolutions. After all, he realized that he had not kept a single resolution when the year ended. But, it was no wonder that he had failed to keep the resolutions. Most of the people tend to be more impractical to make New Year’s resolutions than make plans for work. I think the best New Year's resolutions are no resolutions at all.
